Let’s Dance Kizomba! Kizomba Workshop & Social May 9th | Saturday | 2:30–4:30 PM 📍 696 Pine Street, Burlington, VT (Out of the GROW Prenatal Center) Join instructor Elena for a welcoming afternoon of learning, movement, community and connection on the dance floor! ⸻ ✨ What to Expect 2:30–3:30 PM — Workshop A focused class exploring one key element of Kizomba. Each workshop in this series will dive into a specific theme such as: • Partner connection • Musicality • Ginga (the natural movement and flow of the dance) • Technique and smooth transitions 3:30–4:30 PM — Social Dancing Put what you learned into practice and enjoy an hour of relaxed dancing with others in the community! ⸻ 💃 Who This Is For • Some experience recommended, but not required • Beginners: come ready for a fun challenge • Intermediate dancers: refine your technique and deepen your connection Everyone is welcome — come solo or with a partner! ⸻ 📍 Location 696 Pine Street, Burlington, VT (Inside the GROW Family Center) 💲 Pricing $25 — Workshop + Social $20 — Workshop Only $10 — Social Only To pre-register, please venmo using the link below. Her passion for the dance has taken her to international festivals and countless hours on the dance floor, learning from top instructors and refining her connection and musicality. Before the pandemic, she traveled regularly to Montreal to immerse herself in the Kizomba scene. Now, as a mother of two, she’s excited to reconnect with the dance community and share the joy, energy, and connection of Kizomba with the local community.
