Come celebrate 3 years of UV Casineros with us on Saturday, September 26th! We are excited to have Art and Virna from TucSon Casineros (Warren's former group) in the Upper Valley for the first time! They will teach four Cuban dance workshops. Please bring clean shoes and water. Arturo "Art" Garcia & Virna Fratt are the past and present leadership behind TucSon Casineros, Southern Arizona’s long-running Cuban dance community. Art founded the group in 2012 to share his passion for Cuban Casino and Rueda de Casino before relocating to Mexico City four years ago. Virna joined TucSon Casineros in 2014, performing and teaching alongside Art for years before taking over directorship of the organization to keep the local Cuban dance scene thriving. Together, Art and Virna built a welcoming community focused on musicality, connection, and the authentic, joyful spirit of Cuban dance. They are excited to head to Vermont this September to reunite with former TucSon Casinero Warren Kadoya and share their love of Casino with the UV Casineros community!
